"Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love." Ephesians 4:15–16

Perhaps the best way to encourage one another spiritually is through one-on-one discipleship. This involves meeting up with another member of Arlington Baptist Church for mutual encouragement, accountability, and fellowship. Often members will study through a book of the Bible or read through a Christian book as the context. Additionally, this setting is ideal for real accountability. While most of these relationships spring informally from the men’s and women’s small groups, one-on-one discipling relationships can also be formed more formally.
