Context

Sermon in a sentence: Resolve to love God first because he first loved you.

1. Do Not Be Anxious [Matthew 6:25–32, 34]

     b. Because you are more beloved than birds [Matthew 6:26]

     c. Because it is a waste of time [Matthew 6:27, cf. Psalm 55:22, 1 Peter 5:7, Philippians 4:6]

     d. Because God will provide [Matthew 6:28–30c]

     e. Because it is not of faith [Matthew 6:30d–32a]

     f. Because God knows what you need [Matthew 6:32b]

    g. Because today has enough trouble [Matthew 6:34]

2. Seek First the Kingdom [Matthew 6:33]

          i. Make the kingdom the first thing you give your thoughts to.
         ii. Make the kingdom the first thing you give your time to.
        iii. Make the kingdom the first thing you give your talent to.
        iv. Make the kingdom the first thing you give your treasure to.

         i. The Redemptive Rule of Jesus
        ii. Seek the King of the Kingdom
       iii. Seek the Kingdom in the Lives of Others

               1. Pray for them
              2. Plead with them
             3. Provide them with a faithful witness
