Acts

The book of Acts chronicles the ongoing ministry of the risen and reigning Lord Jesus Christ through his disciples by the power of his Holy Spirit. The goal of the book is to see the message of salvation in King Jesus carried to the ends of the earth. In Acts 1:8, Jesus told his disciples that they would be his witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and even to the ends of the earth. Luke’s account of the spread of the gospel message follows that program to the glory of Jesus Christ. The "Acts of the Apostles" is the first-hand account of the early days of the church as the good news spread from person to person, house to house, region to region, and country to country.
